M Donnelly Inter-Provincial Hurling Semi-Final
Munster lost to Connacht by 2-20 to 2-18 in the Martin Donnelly Interprovincial semi final at Pearse Stadium, Galway on Saturday afternoon. Munster led by 2-7 to 0-9 at half-time thanks to goals by Paul Kelly (Tipperary) and Ken McGrath (Waterford). Meanwhile on Sunday at 2:30pm in Parnell Park Dublin, De La Salle (Waterford) take on Cushendall (Antrim) in the All-Ireland Club Hurling Championship Semi-Final.
